Massimo Locci, militante e critico, ha scritto numerosi libri e saggi di analisi urbana, storia e critica dell’architettura.
Dal 1978, anno della laurea a Roma, ha svolto un’intensa attività di docente presso varie università italiane (Roma, Ascoli, Potenza, Napoli) e di organizzazione/cura di mostre, convegni, workshop di progettazione.
Fa parte della redazione della rivista on-line Presst/Letter e della rivista internazionale “Le Carrè Bleu”.
E’ stato direttore del canale multimediale MEDIARCH, membro del Comitato Scientifico della Casa dell’Architettura di Roma e vicedirettore della rivista  AR dell’Ordine degli Architetti di Roma. Ha fatto  parte delle redazioni delle riviste: L’Architettura C/S, L’Architetto Italiano, Compasses, D’Architettura.
Nell’attività professionale si è occupato di recupero urbano, attrezzature e servizi pubblici (uffici, scuole, parchi, strutture universitarie ed espositive) e privati (alberghi, uffici, centri commerciali). Molte sue opere sono state pubblicate su Domus, Casabella, Controspazio, Wettbewerbe
All’interno dell’IN/ARCH (Istituto Nazionale di Architettura) è  Direttore del Comitato Scientifico Nazionale.

Massimo Locci, architect and critic, has written numerous books and essays on urban analysis, history and criticism of architecture.
Since 1978, the year of his graduation in Rome, he has had an intense activity as a teacher at various Italian universities (Rome, Ascoli, Potenza, Naples) and in the organization and curation of exhibitions, conferences, design workshops.
He is part of the editorial board of the online magazine Presst / Letter and of the international magazine “Le Carrè Bleu”.
He was director of the multimedia channel MEDIARCH, member of the Scientific Committee of the Casa dell’Architettura in Rome, and deputy editor of the AR magazine of the Order of Architects of Rome. He was part of the editorial board of the magazines: L ‘Architettura C / S, L’ Architetto Italiano, Compasses, D ‘Architettura.
In his professional activity he has been involved in urban regeneration, public equipment (offices, schools, parks, university and exhibition buildings) and private (hotels, offices, shopping centers). Many of his works have been published in Domus, Casabella, Controspazio, Wettbewerbe
Within the IN / ARCH (National Institute of Architecture) he is Director of the National Scientific Committee.
